How the AI interview works for candidates

What candidates see, text versus voice, how long it takes, and how it stays fair.

Applying

Candidates fill in their name and email (phone and LinkedIn are optional), upload a PDF CV and choose the interview language: Romanian or English. They agree that an AI interviews them and that a person decides. They don't create an account.

They get an email with a private link. From it they can start the interview right away or later, and follow where their application stands.

The interview

It takes about 15–20 minutes. The interviewer reads the CV first, then asks about the candidate's own experience against your rubric, and follows up until answers are specific.

  • Voice feels like a short call. It needs a microphone. Audio isn't stored; only the transcript is kept.
  • Text is a chat. It's always offered, for anyone who can't talk right now or needs an accessible alternative.

A voice interview uses 1 credit and a text interview ½. See Credits, billing and invoices.

Fairness

  • Candidates are told up front that they're talking to an AI and that a person makes the decision.
  • The interviewer never asks about age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, health or disability, pregnancy or family plans, sexual orientation or political views.
  • Scoring doesn't see the candidate's name and ignores writing fluency in a second language.
  • Pauses, leaving the tab or pasting are shown to you as context. They never lower a score on their own.

What candidates can do afterwards

From their private link, candidates can rate the interview, ask your company for a human review, or withdraw and delete their data. If they lose the link, they can get it again at /my-data. Read the AI notice we show candidates.
